Description
This online course is designed as a “Portable Gauge 101” for support/administrative/professional staff who don’t handle (operate) portable gauges or frequent restricted areas (gauge storage) and who in the course of employment are not likely to receive in a year an occupational dose in excess of 100 mrem (1 mSv).
Non-Users not likely to receive an occupational dose in excess of 100 mrem in a year from licensed gauges are not subject to the NRC on-the-job radiation safety “instruction” requirements specified in Title 10 CFR 19.12.
This course is accepted for use in every state.
